I have been disqualified from several screenings for the last few months due to My EKG QTCF number was a little high between 452 to 464. even though the nurse told me this is not a health concern, I really need to bring it down to normal. I don't drink alcohol and only drink decaffeinated coffee and water. IWatch my diet and do not exercise. I am in generally very good health condition. I have read from this website about holding breath while doing EKG that seemed to help a little but not enough. I would appreciate any advices from you all. thank you

Exercising is great for cardiovascular health. May be the qtc is reflective of the fact that poorly conditioned!

I normally don't exercise and did not have this problem until these couple of months. I think I should start walking more. Does anyone know if holding your breath would help with your EKG reading?
