i'm annoyed. they are advertising a study. www.medpace.com/WhatWeDo/ClinicalPharmacology/StudyParticipants/Studies/Healthy.aspx but they dont actually have a study like that, it filled last week, but they are keeping the ad up. it doesn't even seem to be the usual bait and switch routine some places run, where they lure you in with one ad and then shunt you off to some lower paying/worse study. here, they just dont seem to care that they are lying. it violates the principles of informed consent to deliberately be advertising studies they know they don't have.
i only heard of this place recently. anyone been there? it would be the closest to me of all the clinics, if it turns out to be legit.
== edit 10/13. the ad problem seems to be fixed.
my current issue with these folks is twice i've been sent home for false positives at check-in.
I hate places that do not advertise there studies on the website and it's even worse when the highest paying studies are left up knowing the study is no longer avaiable and you spend your time holding on the phone.

Any delay in removing non-enrolling studies from our website is unintentional. In some cases the study is placed on hold by the sponsor and we actually are still looking for people who have interest. In other cases, there is a delay (not normally a month) in getting the information taken down. It is our intention to advertise only studies for which we have ings and not to mislead any volunteer at any time.
