what are the listed side effects/ how many doses will you have?
my overall experience is that many times the listed side effects mean nothing and never happen, especially with single dose.
and what clinic is this study at?
give us a bit more info!

My son took tetracycline 100mg for acne and never had side effects and that was 20 years ago. Seems if it was that unsafe they would not still be prescribing it but you must do what you feel safe doing.

And the tax ho finally got my taxes done so I should get a check to hold me over until I find another study. I've been trying to get them filed since April but the bish kept saying she need more forms. Most have been crap at PPD. Low pay and lots of side effects. I screened for one back in July for a drug that was similar to a drug called Gileyna. I'm glad I didnt make it past screening! That was another booger of a med study that I didn't feel safe doing. That one could mess with your eyes as well. It's nice to see someone else who actually takes the side effects into consideration. I have a bit of difficulty relating to the people on here who earlier suggested (paraphrase) "shut up and sign". Most of the "informed consent" things Ive been part of have been quick and glossed over the only really important part, the side effects. Glossing over the rest is fine, other than for maybe first timers. There is this guy with dorky glasses at Celerion Phoenix named Daniel. He seems like a decent enough guy, but in the informed consent he was telling us we'd only be dosing once, when it clearly said soing far different, and he wouldnt budge even though multiple people pointed it out. Some of these informed consents are jokes. I remember one there where two ladies maybe in their 50s kept trying to hurry things along because they were hungry from the fasting. Good grief, sometimes our own comrades are working to keep us ignorant.

Yes! Listen to your gut. Walk away if necessary. Worldwide once left out the part where we have to eat a radiation muffin until the day of screening. I wouldn't have even considered it had they mentioned it in the phone interview. But after driving so far to screen I compromised... and I still regret it, think I lost some hair even!

I wanted to delete his response but it wouldn't let me... Mods can delete trolling...or the illicit drug dealer spam... *cough cough* Of course maybe the latter is now a board sponsor, hence why they litter nearly every section now?

i was in a study 4 years ago for an anti-cancer drug. it was single dose. another woman and i did have the experience of losing hair. it wasn't in clumps but every morning for a couple of weeks, we would wake up with 20-30 long hairs on the pillows. we reported it but no one said anything or had any info for us. it stopped after maybe 3 weeks. we don't know if it happened to others or not, we only discovered about each other when we ran into each other in downtown Orlando.
so i don't know if "camps out" is troll or not but if a single dose of an experimental drug can cause hair to fall out, i suppose soing with radiation in it could also?
i did do one radiolabel study but it was 10 years ago. i hardly remember a thing about it except that we had to "deposit" our poop in lined boxes. but the compensation was good haha.

Hey guys, Not trying to "troll", just sharing friendly advice. I'm on here to network and make money like I think we all are. To learn the tricks of the trade. I apologize if I offended anyone. No need for insults, PEACE!

No need for insults, PEACE! I believe you, you seem like a geniunely good person. I think Max just took it the wrong way. Ive done a radio label study myself...it just wasnt in a muffin. It was a horrible tasting liquid that we drank in a few shot glasses worth! If someone spilled any urine on the floor, they shut down the restroom like it was some crazy hazmat scene. It was a little melodramatic in my opinion, but I get where they were coming from. TravelingRat, we had to do the same, and I dont think they paid us much more(if any) than the going rate. They kept it in a walk in freezer til the next day, when it was taken elsewhere.

Sorry if I can't reply sooner. I try to update asap, especially on my own threads. I've been grieving the loss of a significant relationship. I will update when I can. I might take a break from posting for a while. I've traded browsing the internet for daily walks on the beach...staying offline and close to nature is helping me through the pain... I hope things get better for you, Max. Being away from here for awhile has seemed to help me stay a bit more balanced inside, and even away from the internet and electronics in general is said to be healthy. I hope youre well enough to be back soon, some of your stuff is so funny that it wasnt that long ago that people who didnt know you thought you were trolling.
