I had 2 indeterminate results on the Quantiferon Gold test, I have taken it 4 times total in screenings and the other 2 were negative. I also took the skin test twice which was also negative...Anybody know what could be causing this or how I could prevent it? I didn't get a positive, but an unreadable result...

Interesting… I had that happen, and never had Tb in my life…was vaccinated as a child. There are tests that aren’t accurate, and pneumonia can leave scars. I was told this after an “abnormal” test result at Parexel LA, and even though it might’ve been a false alarm, was told I’d never be able to screen there again. I’m not upset- they’re a weird place with a bipolar study coordinator…just mystified because it never happened at another screening before or since.
