I’ve learned about a few simple things can be really helpful during the inpatient portions of studies.
Would love additional feedback and additions to my list:
1- don't forget chords and chargers for electronic 2- headphones or bluetooth 3- an extension chord is really handy 4- a waterproof tote for carrying things to/from the showers 5- a heating pad in case your veins hide during overactive climate control or your back gets cranky from bad matresses 6- bring layers too 7- bring work, books, or soing creative to do so you’rd still growing and expanding with sometimes weeks on your hands.
I am new to Phase 1 clinical trials so I am trying to learn as much as I can .
Location: Florida I mainly do: Healthy Studies # of studies I have done: 3 A little about me: I am just getting started in clinical trials . Became unemployed and was doing small outpatient studies until someone told me about Covance and it has opened up a new world of making money.
So I am trying to do more inpatient studies and am hoping to do even more next year.

Ear plugs are good to have And flip flops for the shower. I also bring lip balm because my lips dry out. I also bring sleep mask and sometimes a stocking hat to keep my ears warm and or a ball cap to keep the over head lights out of my eyes especially if I have a headache. And yes layers are a must since many clinics are cold.
