Can anyone tell me about Seaview? I recently applied online. I got called back and told that usually they have no studies for people over age 45 but they currently do. They offered me 2 studies. One for lymph nodes, another for diabetes( from my best recollection). One has two different in-patient stays. Another is an inpatient stay of about 3 weeks, no returns. I would love to try Seaview but I am not sure that the schedules for either these studies are exactly what I can manage at the moment. Both begin on days that I would be at my job even though merely going to Florida from NY and staying with a friend is doable But I have to learn more about Seaview too. I am so regretful that I won't be able to do any of these studies. I don't know when Seaview will have another study for my age group but I hope to eventually do a study there. But if anyone can, please tell me about the place, what it is like, are the staff professional, are the other volunteers mostly well behaved, is the food decent , etc?

I live about 5 hours away and have been to Miami area for other reasons and even at the gas station they didn't speak English and I feel the area unsafe so I don't plan on going down unless I have a Spanish friend go with me to help me get in. And not Seaview maybe Cooper But I heard they have one large room with beds and it is make/female which I am not comfortable with since clinics don't do, at least most don't do, background checks. Can it change by reporting? Not sure but not worth it for me. Maybe some Caucasian people from here that do go can report it . But I have heard the one in Jacksonville was loud and unruly so can imagine Miami worse.
