I'm new to the forum and at this point I'm trying to get a feel for what kind of studies are generally searched out for those volunteering for clinical trials or those where a person can participate in more than one? I assume Phase 1 trials but only for some types of conditions right? Can anyone help me get a better feel for what types of trials volunteers tend to participate in?

If you see a study listed that sounds doable to you, when you call and have the phone screen, ask as many questions as you can: how many are screening, are there known side effects, how many returns, etc.?
you can ask the phone screener if the study coordinator can contact you. usually they do not but if they do, you can get more and better answers.
a few (very few in my experience) clinics will email you the study consent form. every clinic should do this because that is where known side effects are listed. when i first started doing studies, i did everything, but i soon learned to be choosy. i avoid the pysch studies but in desperation, i have done most kinds of studies including the psych ones.

A little about me: I am just getting started in clinical trials . Became unemployed and was doing small outpatient studies until someone told me about Covance and it has ed up a new world of making money.
So I am trying to do more inpatient studies and am hoping to do even more next year.

It sounds to me like Researchpro is doing research and not really wanting to participate. From the questions asked I think they are just trying to gain information about how and if people participate in more than one study at a time so Researchpro that is not normal protocol for participating in studies. There is a 30 day window inbetween and sometimes the window is longer depending on the drug. Good luck with your research.

Because of Covid, more clinics have been sending the consent form to the applicant volunteer by email. (I don't know what the clinic does when they are dealing with a much older person , or any person who does not have access to a computer).
