When you text everyone at once for a new study, make sure to also list it on your website, that will allow every subject that is waiting to at least check and see if the screening dates, study check in dates actually work out for them, if it doesnt they will obvioulsy hang up which will help with the congestion.
Hire more than 1 phone person on screening days, WTF! Can't you have at least a few more people help out? Average waiting times are over an hour on hold easily! *And that's if you call within minutes of getting the text!) I waited almost 2 hours (no joke) for the month long 7k study that dropped this week and was finally told they didnt need any more male subjects. This could have been avoided by updating the website since I called a day after the study dropped.
I understand you're a small clinic and thus why should you care as long as you fill up your studies which you always do. But if you at least updated the website when you release the studies it would help with the congested phone lines, (or phone line, since there's only one person manning the phone, lol).
Maybe institute a vip pass or something to motivate subjects, so those that were the lucky lotto winners that got through on the phone to set up an appointment, made it to screening, passed, got invited to check in, passed that with flying colors, only to be randomized as the lucky ones to be bypassed by sheer randomization, (instead of going by best labs like covance) can get a guarantee into the next study since they clearly got shafted.
There has to be a better way than to simply text 1500-2000 subjects at once when you release a study and have one person on the phone!
