My friend screened there this past friday, and they did make you sign the VCT form at screening. What sucks is theres not way to know for sure all the clinics that use VCT as of now since on their website they took down the map of all the participating clinics, which I cant say I blame them haha

Yes, I found that out too. They use VCT, yet Quintiles does not. Vince and Associates just moved to use VCT also.
One might think if PRA uses VCT but Quintiles does not, one could go
PRA --> Q,
and this works. Seen it a bunch. Yet going the other way,
Q --> PRA
doesn't work, because PRA uses a specific form and has permission to check Quintiles. As for V&A --> Q and Q --> V&A, the door is still as of current.

I'm wondering what the clinics will do, when they can't fill their studies because of this. They'll have to up the stipends, to both attract new volunteers as well as maintain the pool of loyal, professional participants, because you can't make a living with 4-8 weeks between studies at the current stipends levels. We'll all just go back to regular jobs. If VCT was smart, they'd start lobbing to change the "blanket" One Month Between Studies Rule, to soing more logical, based on the Amount of Blood Taken or Half Life of the last drug. Then sell a service where they don't focus on ruling out recruits (who are not even over lapping studies, rather just screening around the edges) but rather focus on expanding the recruitment pools by saying, "hey, this subject's last study had one blood draw and a 20 minutes half life, they could physically be clear do another study in less than a week with no potential harm."

Several other clinics, have, in the past joined VCT, only to later drop it because it cripples recruiting. Which clinics did this? I don't think it's a good idea to ly name the clinics whom have done this, because as you know VCT and JALR are in bed together, and I would want to create any waves. But my quoted statement is accurate.

I heard (but can't prove with direct knowledge) that used VCT for a while but opted out. Reasons given were that they didn't want to pay for it.
If clinics are opting out of VCT because it hurts their recruiting, does that mean that those clinics are willing to look the other way on subjects violating study protocols by doing simultaneous studies, or not waiting the full time for a previous drug to wash out?
It makes sense for places like Spaulding, Celerion, SNBL etc. to use VCT: It's a selling point when they're promoting themselves to drug makers/sponsors. Not so much for companies that test their own drugs.

pay for it for a little while, weed out non-compliars from their data-base, then drop it, maybe o pick it back up later. or pay for it for a little while, find it's not delivering much nag for the buck, drop it.
if there are threads disappearing, feel free to save a copy and pm me. i'm only a moderator, not the site owner, but i'd be interested to know. one time before the whole site got wiped, it wasn't on purpose. but backing up your posts somewhere else might be worthwhile if they matter to you.

As of March '15 PRA was still using VCT, and as noted previously, part of the form includes permission to check with other local companies (i.e., Quintiles, since they're not on VCT). Does anyone know if they actually do check with Quintiles, or is it just a scare tactic?
