Hey there! I've done studies in the past using my SSN and recently I've had some issues with my identity being compromised. I've had a EIN number for quite some time now and I'm wondering has anyone here ever used a EIN number in lieu of their SSN for studies. I asked the recruiter while I was scheduling my screening appointment if this would be a problem and she said she's never had that question come up before. If anyone has had any experience with this, please let me know. Thanks!

not sure if i'm following you. do you mean you've set up a corporation or llc to recieve your study paychecks? that sounds like a good idea, it's just a step i havent gotten around to. or are you a sole proprietor but got a number separate from your ssn?

This is a really great idea miked. Have you gone through with using a EIN number for a trial yet?

sure, i see no reason you couldn't get paid to your llc. W-9. oh, and i wasn't seeing why you'd want to do that, but identity/privacy reasons make a lot of sense.
