This is old news now but i haven't seen any discussion on it here so here it goes: online.wsj.com/articles/-to--shire-for-54-billion-1405674618Funny that IL senator Dick Durbin took Walgreen's to task (and succeeded...so far) for their threat to move to europe to avoid taxes but no mention of . Maybe Durbin (like some of us labrats) are still figuring out where and what is?! after all it isn't really on everycorner, though likely in most medicine cabinates. So with ing shire for the mere 54billion they can cut corprate tax rate basically in half makes me wonder how that will affect the company...and us rats. A lot depends on what they can do with hep c drugs after the Humira patent expires. Will we see payouts For ALL studies of at least $250 per night to keep in line with covance and spaulding? How about 300 and a hot tub on the 2nd floor patio...just in time for those long winter studies!

Man, who in their right mind would suggest a hot tub??...oh wait. What i would suggest we suggest in the end of study exit survey is that they offer direct deposit. They offer it for the workers of course but when i asked why not for subjects i got "well people change banks...it's a hassle"!? well not that often...'s a billion dollar company i think they can handle it, like other smaller clinics can!
