I was unable to screen for Quintiles, since I checked that I had NOT taken any over the counter drugs with in the last ?? hours.
When they tested my urine,I was asked if I had taken any over the counter drugs yada yada yada..
I than remembered that I had taken a sleep aid the night before, and so I told them.
She than asked if I could remember the name.
I told her it was HyVee night time sleep aid(what it says on the label).
She said that I could not screen, and would be unable to do do for 90 days.
WTF??
Seriously?I thought it was just for 30 days. I know nothing about clinical studies, but 90 days seems rather extreme. I got the feeling that they didnt believe me and wanted me to leave. This was my first attempt at any lab rat gig.
So,I guess I will try Vince and Associates.

That's pretty standard. Just don't take anything for at least a few days before you screen. Although, I've taken ibuprofen the day before on plenty of occasions and have been fine.

Seems pretty harsh. I was expecting 30 days but when she said 90...i thought F*CK!! Mad at them and mad at myself, for forgetting that I had taken a sleeping pill the night before. Well, live and learn. I'll give Vince....a try.I think they are not that far from Quintiles. They don't seem to have studies that pay as much as Quintiles, but the facilities look like one of the best.
