Anyone do this yet in nyc. Do you really need to someone to check you out when you're done. If no ones checks you out will they let you just stay overnight so you can check yourself out?

I did that study a few years back. It has been ongoing since about 2006. In fact I did two different series of tests. The first one was such that I had to go get a bronchoscopy once every two weeks for six weeks. In each case I was kept overnight and released the following day. after a few months I was invited to try another session. I was not kept overnight this time.
In case you may not be aware, a bronchoscopy is painful. The medication they give you to numb your throat may make you nauseated. It did so to me.
Also after those two bronchoscopy sessions I was invited again for a study in which a tube was to be put into my nostrils and that was really painful.
I once read an article about a person who went through such a study ( and I think it was one study in which he got a tube down his nose almost every day for about two or three weeks) and he got paid some $7000. I only made $200 for each time I got the treatment. The bronchoscopies netted me about $800 total. But from what I recall of that article, it was in some other state not in NY.
It is a lot of pain to tolerate for only about $200 or $250 for each time they put a tube in your throat or nose.

Is this still on-going? If so, where? PM me if you don't want to post any info here.
