Thanks Vark, looks like they did through in a extra grand or so since i saw the original one listed. FYI, this is a lumber puncture dosing (aka spinal tap). I got tired of counting all the OPV days but i think it came to the last opv occurring around May/June...depending on what dosing day you get of course.
I've never thought i would consider a spinal tap and it still has a negative connotation...but from what i've read it doesn't seem too bad. Headache being the most common adverse event. There are more painful/invasive dosing ods out there i'm sure. Would be a bonus is they played "this is spinal tap" during the dosing but i won't push it.
Anyone out there do a lumbar puncture?

well, start at jalr.org, scroll down to , click, Telephone Contact Numbers For Signing Up For A Study: (800) 827-2778 Please mention Paul Clough as your referral source! Thanks! it may be too late for that one but they have others www.phase1.com/volunteer-now.htmlif you are close, just drive over there, ask to screen, today is the last day. but it could be full. edit: oh thanks pong. i called and got put on a waiting list. i'll expect a call no sooner than late march, for a study that doesn't start will after easter, and drags on for months. still can't turn down big money like that - if the spinal tap is harmless.

Word is they are doing many doseings of this study. They do about 1 subject a day...with groups of about 7 subjects. There will be more cohorts throughuot the year. Two lumber punctures and a MRI. No complaints from the subjects that i chatted with that have had the puncture.

I did this study, super lucrative - basically a ten day commitment for $3K then you're getting another $900 every time you go back. Puncture is a little weird and uncomfortable but not very painful.

How long did it take before they mailed your checks once you were done with the study? I mean.
