Anybody been to The Unmentionable Clinic in the past few weeks? You know, the One that rhymes with Romance?
I'm wondering if they are doing any verification.....
Someone...anyone...

Anybody been to The Unmentionable Clinic in the past few weeks? I'm wondering if they are doing any verification..... As of about a month ago, no. And they're still promising to pay within 21 days of final visit. Who wants to sink hundreds into travel costs only to have to wait that long to get paid?

WWCT in San Antonio is starting to use SVD for some studies. SVD? Did you mean VCT? Or is SVD some other company? **Also, I'm not looking to hijack a thread, but every VCT thread turns into a question, answer, opinion thread. We need a clean, VCT Listing Only thread. I'd like to link over to a VCT Reference Thread. It's not for opinions, or discussions, it's intended to be an "at-a-glance" list of CONFIRMED VCT Clinics w/o any thing muddling it up. Only add clinics that you, first hand, signed the VCT form at while screening. jalr.proboards.com/thread/288/list-vct-clinics-any-talk

We need to find a web site that has a current list of companies participating in verification of clinical trials. If you try to screen and get caught then they will ban you for life. I wonder if we all ask Just Another lab rat to create such a list if they will comply. This seems up their alley. I'm just saying. I know that Covance does NOT participate in the verification thing. I can't speak for others. But I saw in a post that recently that Parexel started doing VCT in September 2014. But not sure if that post was true.

We need to find a web site that has a current list of companies participating in verification of clinical trials. If you try to screen and get caught then they will ban you for life. Are there any actual confirmed reports of someone being banned for life because of VCT? The worst I've heard so far is one subject who screened at a VCT clinic (Celerion), and then at another (some other clinic in New Jersey), being rejected from the second clinic--but only for that particular study. As far as I understand how VCT works, the clinic that queries VCT as to your status gets either a yes or a no, but not any particular details about studies you've done or screened for, or where at.

antecubital, this is an excellent question.
my only experience was when checking in for a brief 1-day study at celerion NJ in late november 2013, one of the 6 of us who was checking in was told that she could not do the study since VCT had said she was in another study. she said that no, that was not the case. they replied that there was not enough time for further investigation.
everyone was friendly to her and they gave her the $150 alternate fee. there was no talk of banning. (this all happened a few feet from where i was sitting.)
i am curious too ... does anyone out there have more info?
