Has Parexel Glendale imposed a requirement that volunteers must have a local address? Is this a rumor...? It is actually a counterproductive move it would seem. Is Baltimore to follow...?

baltimore would be better off if they had a rule that you can't be from baltimore.

I just met another pissed off lady about parexel glendale. she said they kept her waiting for at least 4 hours before they take her in and she had to fast so she ended up not eating for 16 hours and the study was sensitive and she failed because of their mistake she and others and she complained and she said she will never go back to them.

baltimore would be better off if they had a rule that you can't be from baltimore. That's possibly the funniest thing I've read on this board, and likely very true!!! So I called the Glendale location today to confirm whether this residency requirement was true or not. This thread gave me the idea that someone may have a vendetta, and/or want to give themselves a better chance to get in with less competition from the likely high amount of lurkers who read but dont post(or likely even register to this site). I suppose it would technically be valid to refer to them as parasitic, although it wouldnt sound nice. First thing I ask the guy was if there was a residency requirement. He said soing like, "No, as long as you can make it to the studies". I then asked if there were any healthy studies available(the site has outdated ones, or ones with no dates listed), and he said yes, and then put me on a lengthy hold. When he finally came back, he asked if I had a California state ID. So I said, "So you DO have residency requirements", and he just repeated that you need a California state ID. I guess technically that still dispells a bit of misinformation about needing to be in SoCal, however. I didn't want to bring you folks bad news, but you've now heard the details from a straight shooter who has no vendetta. I don't suppose I was the only one not sold by this thread before today. I also was surprised I got through this time. They have NEVER returned my voicemails OR emails, not once. I still don't have a vendetta and wish I could participate, but can objectively say they seem to lack professionalism and courtesy.
