Anyone ever did a study at NIH in Bethesda, MD? I heard the pay is good. They are doing a common cold study. Here's the details:
Respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) is a contagious virus that causes the common cold. However, RSV can cause serious and life threatening lung infections in children, the elderly, and people with weakened immune systems. In our study, we will give a dose of RSV in the nose and study how a healthy adult responds. What we learn from this study may allow us, and other researchers, to test new medicines and vaccines for RSV.
You may be eligible for the study if you are: ✓ 18-50 years old ✓ Healthy and non-smoking ✓ Willing to use birth control ✓ Living within 300 miles of the NIH Clinical Center in Bethesda, Maryland
This study requires hospitalization at the NIH Clinical Center for appmately 1-2 weeks. You will return again for 2 outpatient study visits. Participants will be compensated for time and travel.
