I live in Nebraska and mainly do studies in NE, KS/MO, WI, ND, MI, MN, OH, IL .. etc (sorry if I left out any but you have a general idea). I am trying to expand my wings but I can only with stand about 8 hours driving at one time. I have been interested in meeting new people that are interested in car pooling and sharing hotel accomodations. Get back with me on some more information about yourself and where you do most of your studies. I also have a facebook account.

i am very interested in living with other lab rats in some sort of co-operative housing. i think anything that can lead to more sharing of rides and to more helping each other in general would be great. my own experiences have led me to conclude that the greater one's network, the more success in finding trials and places to stay while screening.

That actually is a really appealing idea; if several labrats could get together and go in on renting a house with several bedrooms.
If the house was in a good location central to lot of clinics, seems like the northeast has the highest concentration of clinics...

Austin or San Antonio are not bad, you have three pretty reliable clinics right there close to each other and another in Dallas 200 miles away. But the summer in central TX is brutal. Although if you have a decent place to live there with good A/C...
