A while back I went for a screening with a friend. We screened for different studies. Her blood pressure was elevated even after repeat vitals. She says the paramedics came to take her blood pressure manually and it was better then. I screened yesterday & asked about this and was told the paramedics only come to screening if someone's blood pressure is dangerously elevated, so they'd have to make sure the person is OK before releasing them.... What gives? I have white coat syndrome when it comes to PPD's stupid blood pressure machines. Honest to God I do not have high blood pressure (never had a problem at Covance Dallas either).
