So I'm currently enrolled in a study, and there is no investigational drug involved. As such, there is no blood/urine test I could fail. The company conducting the study is starting another cohort at one of their other facilities within 4 weeks of me discharging from the current study in a couple weeks. My question is this; If I use a fake SS#, with a different home address and phone number, do you think I'd be able to re-enroll at the separate clinic? The clinic doesn't use VCT, if that helps any.

First, make sure that there's really no urine test or blood test that you could possibly fail. Unless your study doesn't involve any drug (investigational or otherwise), you're potentially at risk. Ask the doctor or coordinator, tell them that you have a job interview when you check out, and ask if the drug shows up on any drug test. I've usually gotten honest, and surprising, answers whenever I asked. (Who would have thought that a pill for seasonal allergies could show up as a false positive for ecstasy/MDMA?) Otherwise, I don't see why your little scheme wouldn't work, so long as whoever's ID you're using is OK with the whole scam. On the other hand, I would think that there are possibly some SERIOUS laws that you would be breaking by using a fake SS#...

Are you a law enforcement officer?
