From what I've heard from Covance staff, Covance has been bought out by LabCorp, although their name will remain Covance. Old news, I know.
I was recently at Spaulding and I think its notable that Spaulding is also affiliated with LapCorp. How do I know this? A LabCorp vehicle was was parked outside the Spaulding building- as if doing a pick up. Yikes. I always thought it was some other company that processed their labs.
Could THIS be why people are thinking Covance uses VCT? I mean really, they don't even need to use VCT. All Covance would have to do is look into the LabCorp records and that is probably how they are busting people.
Also, when I was recently on the phone with Covance doing a phone screen, one of the items I had to agree to was about them communicating with other research facilities for my safety. I had to give a verbal yes to ue on with the phone screen. I can't be the only person that has had to verbally agree to this. They do record the calls, btw.
What do you think?

Great post! I'm not sure you'll see this being you posted that awhile ago, but it interests me. Do you(or anyone reading) think that agreement might just relate to Spaulding and not anyone else? I did a phone screen today for Covance Dallas, and heard soing similar. I think I asked her to repate it and/or explain it, and she may have fibbed and said soing like it was just shared with Covance. Speaking of recording, if you have an Android you can get free apps to record every call on your phone, and I just did yesterday or the day before, so I may have to go back and review her answer if I remember. Compared to this post and what I originally thought I heard, it sounds like the person asking me may have fibbed when they explained it was just being shared within Covance...I'm not even sure if that makes sense. I'm very interested if you or anyone else would like to add anything else to this discussion. Thanks

This talk reminds me to pay more attention when i have those fun long robotic talks with covance phone people! Puntkicker i like your idea of recording BUT be careful as some states you have to have both parties consent to record. That could mean legal trouble for you if you confront them with soing on the recording.
and i have (anecdotally) heard that covance and spaulding have talked about subjects that double up on their studies and action (bans) was taken..so tread carefully.
