Medpace paid us with this bogus PNC card that we have to pay to use. So we have to pay $5 to pull our money out. Of course there is a daily limit on how much we can pull out. All kinds of hoops to jump through just to get our own money. Such a scam Ill never go back. Also I don't have any PNC atms or so called PNC " banks" in my state. So far it's cost me $20 and counting. What a bunch of crooks. Medpace anb PNC. They know exactly what they are doing to steal our money. Both are guilty. My bank said oh no PNC is a terrible company and they can't honor the card.. alsoMedpace will not give me a name to complain to except Kevin the receptionist who has no authority to do anything. I've had one of these cards for a couple of years & never paid a penny in fees. It's a Visa debit card. You can do anything with it. You can withdraw the entire balance into your PayPal account, then transfer it to your usual checking account. You're paid faster & more reliably via this od than you are at most clinics. I've seen people have issues with payment at Spaulding, ... Spaulding did their direct deposits via wire transfers at least once, which most people's banks charged them to accept. My suspicion is that you're unable to a checking account, or a PayPal account, or anything like that, because you've handled money terribly in the past. Boo hoo. Not Medpace's fault, though.

PPD limited studies but rumored to be using for all in the future May 2016 Let me guess--you heard the rumor on this forum? Does no one else think it's odd that the busiest clinic in this country is supposedly using VCT & not ONE person has said, "I was there, I signed the paperwork, it's happening"? And this keeps happening, over & over & over again. Zero pushback. Post that a clinic is using VCT if you saw the paperwork yourself. Otherwise, you simply don't know.

Yes as of March 2017 they are now part of VCT in Covance Madison, WI. Hope that Helps. Spaulding doesn't use the biometric fingerprinting which is one part partial of the VCT but the verification that you are currently are in another VCT Study, is what would come up. How do you know? You've been there & filled out the VCT paperwork?

Yes. It is confirmed that Parexel is now using Verification, and have stopped many from doing multiple studies. They may let you go through the agonizing 5 hour screening process, and even let you drive there and go through a second screening if it is required, and will even call to tell you your results passed, then will call you the day before check in to tell you that you are disqualified, because of Verification in another study, and not meeting the wash out period. I don't know whether this clinic is using VCT, but this person has no idea how VCT works.

Found a document on Google that worries me. It's about being a partner of SafeBIOPharma, that is a partner of VCT (jee stuff is complicated). Not sure if it will raise flags in my situation or not. www.safe-biopharma.org/neweleases/072513.pdfIF anyone has screened there recently and wasn't out of their washout period - please respond. Thanks. If you help me out lunch and drinks are on me next time we meet Sounds like this is some kind of online software pharma companies use that VCT is also going to begin using, but I don't see any implication that it means those companies are now all using VCT.

Skimming employee reviews on glassdoor (a good source for inside gripes about clinics), there's a consensus that LabCorp, who bought Covance a few years ago, have run the company into the ground. LabCorp were rumored to be ing PPD recently, btw. www.modernhealthcare.com/article/20170425/NEWS/170429914

I was always surprised by how much some people liked this place. I went once at the old building, once at the newer one, & absolutely hated it both times.
The greasy food at the newer building was the worst I've had at the nine clinics I've been to. Maybe it improved later, but I was horrified by it.
No quiet room. I agreed to do a study at the newer facility only because they told me it, unlike the old one, would have a quiet room. I get there, for a weeks-long study, walk down the two, count them TWO hallways (the place felt like a psych ward for moderately dangerous criminals), see no quiet room. I'm told: "Oh, we moved the TV in there, because when it was near the pool table, the pool-playing sounds were bothering the TV watchers." Thanks!
The rooms were large, but they weren't really "rooms." The walls were thin & moveable. It was like being in a storage facility.
Then there was the staff's horrible attitude. I didn't really notice this when I'd been at the old building a few months before, so it may have had to do with increased pressure from management at the new place. Certainly the woman who seemed to be running the place--I wish I could remember her name--was an evil b*tch par excellence. Shockingly rude to me & several others.
And then there was just the general weirdness, which I've seen others here comment about. (Someone compared the staff to Scientologists once.) At one point in my second study there a tech, thinking she'd heard someone in my room (the door was closed) "use the F word," called us each into the hallway individually to investigate. I told her this was nuts--R-rated movies were playing on every TV, & we were all adults, so what did it matter? She walked away smirking & later told the facility manager that I had "tried to intimidate her with my body language." (I think I gestured in a fairly normal way when speaking.) I wasn't banned or disciplined, but I never went back.
Awful place run by freaking weirdos. They did love their regulars, though. I remember how they'd fawn over this or that village idiot who practically lived there. Their favorites wouldn't show up to an OPV, & it seemed to be no big deal. "Oh, Eddie called, said he has soing else to do." I suppose if you were in that group & have no standards at all about housing, food, etc, the place was great.

Why was this helpful information removed?! I was very excited about never having to pay income taxes again, because of soing an "educated constitutionalist" lab rat said! I stated in plain english why it was removed, and will gladly replace it once the OP has their answer(s). Because of your clownery and mentioning it elsewhere, I didnt want to risk the thread being hijacked. It looks like despite my attempts, you did anyhow. Congrats. If you want far more details(and entertainment as well), feel free to check out Aaron Russo's magnum opus, America: Freedom To Fascism. www.youtube.com/watch?v=O6ayb02bwp0There are crackpots carrying on about this stuff in every study. You're incredibly gullible.

EDIT: After a bit of consideration, I figured I should wait for a more narrowly defined reply to the OP's question before I added whay I said. I'm interested by this question as well. I think companies like SAGE and Allergan are not only interesting, but worthy stock investments Maybe you'll make enough playing the stock market to a laptop.

To my attackers, my batting average has been pretty high, and Ive worked to help people with the truth. What do you clowns(there are only a couple) add of worth with your belittlment? Where is that !(*^#(%^# Franz now?!? Today you've shared insane conspiracy theories about taxes & said that every clinic in California requires a California ID (false). The verbal diarrhea you spew here is absolutely of negative value.

If I lived closer, I'd enjoy participating in this, more for the SAGE medication than the money. A number of companies have taken moves to give up on all the BS SI copcat drugs, and actually try soing new. While SAGE has several GABA modulators, this SAGE-718 modulates the NMDA receptor. Some studies I'd want the placebo, but this is not one of them! Best wishes to the lucky folks who live close enough to do this! I hope you one day get the help you need.

Puntkicker this is the same person commenting about my post about looking for a hotel in Evansville. Apparently Franz is very very bored and for entertainment likes to post sarcastic remarks. If u dont have anything positive or informative to add please find another form of entertainment. My response to you was perfectly helpful. You're literally too lazy to Google "hotels Evansville IN." It's amazing.
