I know people who know recruiters and will tell you that they are less likely to schedule you for a screening because they can see that you have dropped out. Yes, the paperwork states that but they can tell you it's another reason. Just like a boss can't fire you for one reason but will wait in on the shadows and fire you for a different reason.
This will be the last little bit of information I will divulge... especially after the rudeness I have received recently. Besides, I have learned more in other ways.
Best of luck to you all

It's become apparent why newcomers don't join the conversation and you're as naive as my mother if you think that everything is black and white. There are many things that you will not be told or find out simply by asking a recruiter (which I have done). I was gunning for my information.... Quite honestly- that's fine with me The ignorance of others gives me more opportunities and more money

If I call a company and tell them that I no longer want them to have my profile... Do they delete everything so that there is no record of me ever participating there?

"Also, that the removal of the gallbladder may change the absorption of the medication." I would think that if this is the case they aren't ever going to allow you into a study if you are up front with this information. Since it assists the removal of toxins broken down by the liver, this is going to be a big deal. The liver is how a lot of medication is metabolized through. The question that remains is: does this increase your chances of a severe side effect? I am not sure but I would probably ask a physician. Good luck! I have been without my gallbladder for many years now and that has NEVER been an issue. It's almost so unimportant that when I mention it to doctors they don't care. I have never heard any of this until now. It has soing to do with a less than 1% chance of medication not being absorbed....despite the lack of evidence to support this

Thanks for that. Â What saddens me is it took a brand new user to point this out, not to mention the length of time. Â I hope you ue to contribute, Venepuncture. A lot of these old threads are outdated and have pages and pages to read through along with other useless crap throughout the thread?

Thanks I'm going to add your name to the single post list for your update. Â Being I put the date of the information on the list, when were you last there? Â I'm considering screening there soon myself, so is there anything at all you'd like to add about your experience(s) there? Â Thanks! Not the best screening I have been too. Everyone moves slow and doesn't know what's going on. It seemed very clean compared to places like Icon.

Worldwide penalizes you. You are given two "freebies' per year. However there is a loophole. For instance, if you cancel a screening appointment for a study and they have that same study # again the next month or in the future and you screen for it then you will not be penalized.

They say they won't hold it against you if you withdraw but...why would they want someone who withdrew previously? So, I'm worried to withdraw. Saw that you decided to stay in the study, but I wanted to quickly point out soing. Just wanted to point out that they say they will not "hold it against you" in that they won't use coercive tactics to get you to stay, which is illegal. It would likely affect your eligibility in future studies. At that point you have spent a lot of time getting them data and then left them. If I am a recruiter there is no reason to think you wouldn't do it again in the future. The documentation stated that it would not be held against you

Do any women have any suggestions for what birth control od would be the best to get more trials?
Condoms, sponges, and diaphragms don't qualify for many trials

Stranger things have happened! An evolution in a clause can do you in! VCT can include a clause giving them permission to search for participation in any facility. The consequence is not only that you are not included in a study or probably banned, but such a clause would alert a non participating facility of your Mal intention. Unlike a clear cut notification of conflict like vct clinics do would be to kick you to the curb with no explanation. Such a clause helps VCT as demonstrates why non vct participant should in fact I haven't had that issue and my buddies haven't either
