Ah, the dark side of studies! That video didn't take much responsibility for a flawed system did it. Of course there's unethical actions going on, on BOTH sides. And there always will be with so much money involved. We all know they can't predict for sure if a short term study won't have long-term health effects. But us "guinea-piggers" (a term they would never use in a recruitment video) enable them to get their product to market. And if it kills people later on (like Vioxx) then they can just recall it because they've already made their billions. However, I've met many sincere and dedicated people on both sides that do their job with integrity. I guess it's all in how you see it.

Hey sumguy14,
I'll be headed out that way Jan. 2018, I'm interested in the Cali/Phx circuit now that there's a PPD in Vegas. Here's my number for future reference (406) 202-1651. Depending on the circumstances we find ourselves in at that time we may want to join forces.
Thanks, Tony

Hey guys, Not trying to "troll", just sharing friendly advice. I'm on here to network and make money like I think we all are. To learn the tricks of the trade. I apologize if I offended anyone. No need for insults, PEACE!

i was in a study 4 years ago for an anti-cancer drug. it was single dose. another woman and i did have the experience of losing hair. it wasn't in clumps but every morning for a couple of weeks, we would wake up with 20-30 long hairs on the pillows. we reported it but no one said anything or had any info for us. it stopped after maybe 3 weeks. we don't know if it happened to others or not, we only discovered about each other when we ran into each other in downtown Orlando. so i don't know if "camps out" is troll or not but if a single dose of an experimental drug can cause hair to fall out, i suppose soing with radiation in it could also? i did do one radiolabel study but it was 10 years ago. i hardly remember a thing about it except that we had to "deposit" our poop in lined boxes. but the compensation was good haha.

Yes! Listen to your gut. Walk away if necessary. Worldwide once left out the part where we have to eat a radiation muffin until the day of screening. I wouldn't have even considered it had they mentioned it in the phone interview. But after driving so far to screen I compromised... and I still regret it, think I lost some hair even!

I think Travelingrat nailed it! I would definitely not. Let them other folks do it. My medical history checks out just fine by my own word, no chip necessary

Hello everyone,
I'm interested to hear if any out-of-towners take side gigs between check-ins. Like Uber/Lyft, Amazon Flex, jobs off Craigslist, etc. I'm always looking for good ways to fund my down time without dipping into my study money. All advice appreciated!

Hi Puntkicker,
Quintiles and Vince will limit out-of-towners to studies with no opv's. My Missouri I.D. fixed that and also covers me for Celerion in Lincoln (if necessary). Friends have confirmed that Celerion in AZ don't care, but I've seen rules change before and I'd rather have it and not need it, than need it and not have it. Good luck to you, and Precision too!

I would think so, please let us know when you find out. I myself can advise ways around it in Kansas and Arizona for those interested. Feel free to text me.

Hey all,
Just found a great campground (Blue Springs Lake) about 25 minutes from Quintiles. $23 a night covers up to five people/two cars. 14 day max per 30 days. Power, water, and laundry facilities included.

I (like many of you) prefer to, "get the drop" on studies. We all know timing's vital and we all can't be watching everything at once. I had some steady contacts at one time, and we'd text each other immediately if we saw big study drop (and it was great) However, I've been out of the loop for a while, but starting now, I'm back on the circuit for a year or so and would like to network with folks everywhere. I'm interested in studies for $5,000 and up ONLY
Text me and I'll lock you in to my contacts. Best of luck to you all!
