I have a 33 BMI and I've been waiting for them to post a study that will accept my BMI range for about a month now, with no luck. The only ones they post are either 30 or 32. I remember they used to post studies that went all the way up to 35. I'm bout to rage. I wish they knew the reason why I can't lose weight to begin with is because the meds I took during previous studies slowed down my metabolism. I wish you the best of luck, friend. How many pounds would you have to lose to lose 1 BMI point? If the alternative is total exclusion from studies, might it not be worth maybe trying low carb(ketosis) combined with exercise? I'm rooting for you and dont want to see you give up. While I dont know youre exact situation, I wouldnt be shocked if you were capable of more than you think you are.

the upside, ha ha, is that i'm hearing you're depressed and use eating and drinking to address your emotional problems. that means if you can fix the emotional problems you'll stop drinking and overeating, and the weight will come down to within 32. of course, you can't take meds to fix the depression and still do studies.... maybe hypnosis. i keep hearing cognitive behavioral therapy, but it sounds like a mere buzzword. consider applying for jobs not based on what they pay but how fun they are.
