"I've got some bad news for you sunshine", PPD now has VCT with fingerprint, or at least for some studies. I've read about that in the past but never encountered any while phone screening, but heard that today.

I've read about that in the past but never encountered any while phone screening, but heard that today. I can 100% confirm unfortunately  . I talked with a phone recruiter today and she was like, "this is a VCT study, are you okay with this?". I'm predicting all studies at PPD will use VCT within a year or so. Also, if you've done a study at another place that uses VCT, does it show your entire study history and if you've study jumped, or does it just show if you're currently "active", like within the last month or so? |

Great ad for VCT. I promise you they show things like this to prospective clients. Things like this should be done on password-protected forums. They're free & easy to set up. This is a VCT-sponsored forum. Do you realize that? You people are idiots. Just looking at this forum for ten seconds is as draining as being in a clinic for a week. This held up. LOL |

LOL Ha, I didnt realize it was your post that I paraphrased in the reality tv thread. ![:)]() When I was nervous I might get banned for telling the truth, I mentioned I might start my own bulletin board, free of outside influence, but maybe I didnt need to. They dont seem big on banning here. I like your private forum idea, but how would one keep people who don't have our best interests at heart out, while still letting the thing grow? I'd might even be willing to pay for soing like vBulletin to make the forum nice if I ever felt compelled enough to actually do it...Ive not seriously looked into these things. Do you guys think they'll make us shareholders and pay dividends for all the money we've helped them generate through our postings over the years? ![:)]() |

Thanks Franz u are right on as to this site.
Daily people are shooting themselves and all of us in the foot.
Less is now more unless in a private message.
If It was possible to have a private safe site but like Puntkicker doubtful.

I'm not sure of the pros and cons of a private site, but either way Franz is right that any one of us could make our own site if we felt compelled to. I'm not sure if it would be worth the effort to do it just out of spite toward all of these entities profitting off of us.
And who really cares about VCT? Are there any places that dont tell you on the phone screen about it, or are the ones who tell me just doing it out of the kindness of their heart/because they like me so much? I made the single post list as a labor of love, as well as so the board wouldn't have to be littered with talk of VCT. I mean I dont get what people dont get about just looking at one post and shutting up about it. Are people really that lazy after Ive already done the work for them? THERE MIGHT NOT EVEN BE VCT ANYMORE IF PEOPLE WOULD JUST SHUT UP ABOUT IT. Franz said you people are the biggest selling points, and your posts about it are the reason clinics keep it, and/or new ones add it.
These things only have the power over you that you give them. And they're portraying those of you who might screen 26 days instead of 30 days after a single dose out to be like you're doing it 5 days later, or doing 2 or 6 studies at the same time. Granted there may be a FEW people who actually do that, but they are a tiny minority. While I have never cheated on the washout and dont encourage anyone to do so, some of the hype that makes you out to be degenerates is a bit much for even me to handle, lol.

Hey guys, does the 30 day wash out period include OPs? I screen on the 27th at Vince and was last dosed at Celerion on the 20th of last month but I have a OP at celerion on the 20th. Will I still be able to screen 7 days after an OP?

Will I still be able to screen 7 days after an OP? You may want to call and ask. Some places go by your last dose to your next dose, others go by your last OPV to the day of screening. |
