Hi guys how is it going? This is Alex from Toronto Canada. Im very interested in participating in a study in the states. I have a couple of questions, do you know how does the payment work? Do you need to have an american citizenship to be part of this research?. Im a healthy volunteer, Ive succesfully completed quite a few studies here in Canada. Im urgently saving money for eye surgery and gynecomastia. I am honestly desperate. Itd be awesome if you could help me . Thanks!!!

Ive never been to Vince, but I spoke with them recently and can share some things. While putting "urgent" in your message was wise, the board has been rather slow for a number of years, and almost catatonic lately. So I wouldn't want you to rely on any quick answers on here, or as I've come to learn, any at all. While I dont know about Vince's policy about your citizenship, I did very recetly see another CRU have a FAQ list that said you did NOT need to be a US citizen. I do not know if you can make calls to the US in a relatively uncostly manner, but it likely would be wise to call Vince himself and ask if they have such a requirement, as well as inquiring about their payment od. Some folks here may chime in, but it is never wise to count on that, especially in a timely manner. I just answered immediately upon seeing this to get you in gear as best I could, even though I didn't have the answers. (913)-696-1601 Best of wishes, and maybe others can chime in too. One thing I learned about Vince when I called is that they give priority to those who have studied there before. Maybe others would be willing to explain that in more detail.

I just looked at the Vince and Assoc website, very impressive if it is true/real. Looks clean and it looks like they give u scrubs and u have yr own tv and they let u outside, sounds like a dream clinic. It looks like a place I would feel very comfortable at. I will ask around , to my study friends, and see if anyone has been here.

I'm at Vince now and this is my second time here. The facility is very nice and clean. Bathrooms are like upscale hotels. The only downside is that you share a big room with up to 12 people. Staff is very friendly and helpful. You get scrubs so no need to bring extra clothes. Your bed is equipped with a small tv so you can watch movies all to yourself. They also have game room, movie room with awesome comfy recliners.
I don't know about needing citizenship but I know lots of studies will deduct 30% for tax purpose if you don't have a social security number. You might be able to get refund if you file taxes. Vince payment is thru Clincard and payment is promptly deposited into the card soon after released. Hope this helps. Best luck!

yes, you can cash out a clincard at your bank. january edit: they are screening for a healthy study 3 right now. it has a high screen fail rate, 80%, so you should know that before traveling far to screen.

Does Vince & Associates share information with other clinics in Kansas such as, Quintiles, PRA Health Sciences, Analab?

jalr.proboards.com/thread/1034/new-vct-single-post-listIf you check on this list I made(feel free to give it a thumbs up if you approve of it), everything you listed there is included on the "yes" list on VCT on here, other than Analab, which nobody has said whether or not it has VCT. So in other words, yes, they will all know.

my personal experience with vince, not a statistically significant sample, is that one time i screened and didnt get in, the next time i got in but they postponed the study to dates i couldn't do, the next time i show up for my screening and they cancelled the study and didnt tell me, then this week i didnt get in, my pulse was out of range. oh, that time i got in but they postponed, i was already in kansas city when they called and moved my screening back a day, so i ended up in an expensive hotel room. they do, sort of, pay $100 for screening. but it's not cash or check, it's a gift card that can only be used certain ways. can't use it for cash, can't pay at the pump, got to register for it, it comes with 9 pages of fine print, and if you forget to use it after a year they put on a monthly fee which will take it to zero. so a lot of hassle for $100. still better than anybody else pays for screeening. i think they have a bunch of people who show up just to screen with no intention of actually doing the study, so they can be a bit suspicious. they do not like it if they see you are screening anywhere else at the same time. my screeening was set for 12:00, then on the phone they said 10:00, so i showed up at 8:30 but they didnt see me till about 2, by which time i was so tired i could barely stand up. these are just minor pet peeves. the facility is luxurious, the staff is competent. i havent done a study there so i can't say for certain, but it seems better than average. way better than the fargo location that is owned by the same big pharma.

Hi everyone, I'm Gizmo a former lurker but this is my first post. Recently I did a study with Vince with some outpatient visits scheduled on Mondays. That is the craziest day of the week there. Sometimes the wait times were 3 hours for the visit. They started to push some appointments to Tuesday to reduce the wait times to under 30 minutes.
My advice is that the facility is very nice for inpatient stays with PS4 game rooms, a fresh air room, and a library room. Bottom line is next time I will avoid Monday outpatient visits but look forward to future studies at Vince.

Hi, the last study I did there we were paid on a card daily. There were no outpatient visits. So each day we received $300 for a 21 day recreational study. Pretty cool deal if you don’t blow it online shopping everyday 😝 I’m sure every studies different though. Hope this helps.
