New study but be warned: It's only for drug abusers/people who snort drugs.

If its the same one I did last year it's 30. It was rough but I never threw up and the only side effects where from the additives that where supposed to make it bad.

looks like they are paying 5400 now. you don't have to be a current drug user, just have some history of snorting stimulants.
there is a part I where they see how well you tolerate the stuff and if you pass that then you do the full study.

Does anyone know the max BMI? My buddy lives close and could use the $$ but he's a bigger guy. When I call, I just keep getting the answering machine. you don't have to be a current drug user, just have some history of snorting stimulants Also, is it any drug snorting, or just stimulants? OR pain ? Are they happier if you're more the "What do you have? Yeah, I'll do that!" type...

Wow I heard about this study from another friend of mine. It sounds a bit scary because those type of pills are addictive....

right now they list a $9000 for opiod drug users I got excited twice. First from the thread title before I saw the date, and next from the first half of your sentence. I'm still grateful, just a bit frustrated. However.... I've learned to take advantage of opportunity, and want to ask you and others a question. Is it possible to register for these studies even if you arent a hardcore opiate user? I mean, how could they tell? Most of us have used opiates at one time or another, I would think, unless youve been lucky or are very rugged. Can someone tell me what these opiate studies are like? Have any of you done them?

Have any of you done them? OTC will test you to see if you are an Opiate/drug user. They have a "qualifying phase" where you stay there for 3 days and get tested for drugs. If you have a reaction, you don't get in. If you don't have a reaction, you qualify and come back later on for the actual study.

For studies listed for "opiate users"(instead of "healthy participants"), do you still need opiates in your system? How long do the metabolites stay in you? Do you need to show up high to prove youre an opiate user? I know PRA and Vince have a bunch of these, so that's why I was curious if any folks here had done any. Many seem to pay quite well!

I only know how OCT works. You can NOT show up to any study high or with drugs in your system. OCT will test you on how you respond to Opiate drugs. Like I said, if you fail, you don't get into the Opiate User study.
