Hello, I saw a thread from 5 years ago with a similar topic but posting again for updated information.
I am travelling in Mexico with a friend from Belgium, she would like to do a study with me in the US. I am a citizen and have done a few studies, but I'm having a hard time finding a place that my friend is eligible for. I guess for tax purposes and whatnot, a SS# is needed.
Is there any way around this or locations that accept non-US citizens?

I am new to Phase 1 clinical trials so I am trying to learn as much as I can .
Location: Florida
I mainly do: Healthy Studies
# of studies I have done: 3
A little about me: I am just getting started in clinical trials . Became unemployed and was doing small outpatient studies until someone told me about Covance and it has ed up a new world of making money.
So I am trying to do more inpatient studies and am hoping to do even more next year.

I thought that if u are non citizen that u could just have taxes withheld I think 30%. I thought I saw that at Covance but not for sure. I am not sure how other clinics work but there are many Spanish people at studies and many speak broken English so certainly they are not all citizens. So don't know if they have a green card or ss card or what. Would like to hear others thoughts and opinions.

I agree with Florida girl definitely check at Covance. I did a study at their Evansville location before it closed, and was roommates with 2 non US citizens.
