I am new to Phase 1 clinical trials so I am trying to learn as much as I can .

# of studies I have done: 3
A little about me: I am just getting started in clinical trials . Became unemployed and was doing small outpatient studies until someone told me about Covance and it has ed up a new world of making money.
So I am trying to do more inpatient studies and am hoping to do even more next year.

Hi still trying to see if anyone has been here Dilworth MN.
They said they are very close to Fargo ND so was thinking about flying up. I have Southwest points so would have to fly into Minneapolis which I think is about a three hour drive.
All the recruiter would say is that the food is catered and they have bunk beds in the dorms.
Any info appreciated.

i think axis might be in the same building with the other fargo clinic. i ended up spending so much time and money on travel to fargo that i probably just broke even. but i dont know anything about axis. fargo's a great town except in winter.

A study friend just went. She said the building looks like it is a former K Mart. She thinks they they do a lot of out patient and weekend studies and they much be branching out to do longer stays.
She just screened and they do have VCT. She did say the dorm is bunk beds and u have to bring your own sheets,pillow, blanket which if you are flying will be a hassle.
She gave me a few more details but if she gets dose will tell me more.
But like you she said was a hassle to fly there but they told her that they would pay for screening if you get dosed. I don't how much they pay if they pay for plane round-trip and hotel . She did say that it is very close to Fargo airport and there is a hotel next door that gives a discounted rate if you tell them you are going to Axis.
Will post more if she gets dosed but I talked to her yesterday and she isn't sure she wants to go back due to the travel.
And she did say that for some reason during the day I think everyday u have to stay in one large room where they dose but not sure exactly. It would be weird to have to stay in one room all day even on non dose days so will have to qualify that.
I didn't screen but they have a 2nd group so will see how she does
before I look for flights.
