You gotta call in. I'll be 100% with you, if you want to do this as job, you gotta treat it like a job, you gotta put in some time. It's stressful, it's hours online & on the phone, it's hours in traffic, it's hours waiting in screening offices, it's poking, prodding and pulling glue of your chest and legs, it's hours hoping you passed screening, it's nights awake hoping you're not a D-Bag Alternate, it's taking pills that make you barf, it's sh*tting in a tupperware bowl, it's wearing scrubs like jail underwear, it's roommates that won't shut up, that smell, that brag, that fight, it's coming back again and again because you said you would and you wanna get paid. Yeah, you can get lucky -- get a quick study here and there, by just calling when you feel like it and showing up, make a few bucks and move on, but if you want to be in one every other month, if you want to pay the rent this way, you have to plan, make calls, keep track of who's, when's and what's. It's not easy to keep working, one slip or one failed screening and all of a sudden you're 2 or 3 months between jobs. And don't wait till the rents due, then go into panic mode, when you're going "I gotta get a study", the stress alone form that can F your labs. You gotta treat it like a job, you work, you save $, you call in, you wash out, you work again - before you're broke. Somewhere on this site it mentions the average $$ for a full timer is $18k-24K and that's about right, maybe $30k on the high end. And yeah there are guys who say they made $60k last year, and maybe, when all the stars line up, when they overlap every study, when they some how get into one without ever taking even a week off, MAYBE, if that's possible, they make those big bucks, but that's claiming every study is a 30-day $5000 ALL YEAR, EVERY MONTH, it's not normal. You see a bunch of $5000 studies soings, it'll be like their everywhere, and you think yeah!!! But you can only do ONE at a time, and then when it's done, all those $5000 places...gone...now everyone has $2200, and OH FK what now?? You never know if a big one is coming, do you take the $2200 study this month or hold out for a $6k and 3 months later you haven't worked and you're dying for a $2k study. Man, this is not for the faint hearted. And the guys you see "balling" who are shopping eBay and Amazon before the study even ends, who spend up their checks ing hot new Nikes & Beats headphones, DO NOT base your idea of how much you're gonna make on them, half of them live off someone else, like Mama or a roommate, yeah they have nice (little) sh*t, cause they don't have rent, they don't their own food unless they want to, they don't have car payments or insurance and they don't have 2 nickels to rub together a month after getting paid. Manage your money and you CAN enjoy yourself, but if every check you get you think "I'm paid" ...you're not, you might get that again next month or you might not. You might eat soing that tweaks your labs (turkish food for instance) and you don't work for 2 months. You gotta watch your money. If you don't believe me on this, when you go to a screening, watch how many people are in near panic mode about when they get paid -- because they spent all their money and are desperately broke. Oh & God forbid the clinic says you get paid 2 weeks AFTER study completion, motherfkrs go bat ****. I've done it too, but don't put yourself into that cycle of BIG MONEY/No Money, it sucks. When you average out the pay, it's not a lot, not when you factor in travel & down time. You hold on to your money, don't spend it like the next check is guaranteed. Figure whatever a study pays, is 2 months worth of "normal" pay days, break it down like that. It's hard, but if you do that, you'll stack some paper and weather the storms. Also, as hard as it is, follow the washout periods as best as you can, it's not a joke, you can overlap sometimes and nothing happens, MAYBE get away with it, your labs stay good, you don't get any side effects, the clinic doesn't find out. Other times though, soing happens and your liver enzymes will go all off the charts, like you've been poisoned. I know guys who've got themselves black balled, not because the Clinics found out about the overlapping, but because the Clinics thought their livers were damaged and they ban them for good because of it. All that normal, then skyrocketing, then normal then skyrocketing, one day the DOC goes, "hey pal, your livers is unstable, we gotta ask you not to come back, EVER." I'd advise Wait the Month between studies, trust me on this.

We better go easy on sparkles, he's taking pictures of his huge "stock portfolio" next will be his "giant wiener" and that's the last thing we need (neither one is imaginary either, nope, no way, not him).
Hey seriously though sparkles, I got no skills, can I borrow $10, I wouldn't normally ask, but you're so rich, and I'm so poor and skilless and I really need some hemorrhoid cream, I'm having this pain in my a$$hole & I'd like it go away.

You're a complete halfwit if you have that much money and still do studies. But I'd bet you don't have that much money. I could find a picture of a portfolio as well, halfwit.

Typical lab rat mentality, only poor people do studies. Biotech Companies, lab rats, insider info..?? Hmm maybe you can figure it out LOL. Heres another income stream. Smart people have multiples

Personally, I have had the worst luck recently. Screened at pharma medica, ppd, covance, and world wide within a 4 week period and didn't get one. Lots of gas, and road food, some decent fun however, zero income.
