I heard Paul abandoned this site but it’s getting awful obsolete. Not geocities yet but many links are down or refer to several closed clinics. The latest being pharmamedica in st Charles. We lost quintiles they changed names and stopped studies so forget about em. Covance evansville closed forever but Hawaii’s off here. WVU West Virginia’s gotta go they stopped studies. I haven’t tried the hole in the wall ones lately like analab or new horizons or iqvia that are a waist of gas money. They should get a chump change clinic section. And maby have a don’t bother section for the real tight nit ones that don’t take any outsiders like quotient. Even vct gossip is obsolete. For example noccr uses it on a few studies now although few realize Paul’s mission was stop study jumping second to making referral cash.

whatever paul's motives were, it is undeniable that this forum used to be much more vibrant and informative.
Puntkicker spent an enormous amount of energy posting useful info over the last couple of years, but he was terribly unappreciated, and doesn't seem to post any more.
i hope that if nothing else, we will ue to support each other through the email option.
thank you for the info on nocrc. every bit of info helps a dedicated lab rat.
not relevant but i will say it anyway: all of the people who use prescription drugs in america, you have no knowledge of what the people who test your drugs go through and how those who encounter problems, have little recourse. this forum often provided great advice for so many situations. i hope it doesn't fall by the wayside as we certainly get little help from the IRBs which are designed to protect the clinics.
to everyone out there still on the Forum: post! participate!

I don't think people find this site safe to "share ". I am very cafe full what I say on this forum because I feel it is monitored by VCT though I am sure they know what participants do and don't do as following wash out periods. I mainly look on here to find out what clinics are clean and worth screening at. I hope that other participants will at least fo this. I have liked every clinc I can on FB and they usually post avaliable studies. I also check clinic websites and sign up for email or text notifications.

There is still plenty to share: clinic reviews, travel tips, local bus routes, opinions on general subjects of interest, what NOT to do or say at screening, etc., etc.
years ago i learned so much from the Forum. It just seems quite sad to see it become a wasteland now.

I feel it is monitored by VCT though VCT's Chief Operating Officer--also the CEO of Study Scavenger--used to post here pretending to be a volunteer. In one post, she denied that VCT had anything to do with this site. jalr.proboards.com/post/6841/threadThese people are simply frauds. They were lying to you for years, as was Paul Clough, if only by saying nothing when people asked about the obvious partnership. Paul, incidentally, has become a furry.
