First time study, advice on what to bring

Any advice on what to bring into the study. It'll be my first one this time around.

Are earplugs & eye masks permitted?


Should one carry cash in there?

I haven't been there but I always bring ear plugs,mask and even a ball cap . Ball cap for daytime just to help keep lights out of my eyes during the day if I am in a room where the lights are on and sometimes bright.
I also bring a small fan for white noise to help if someone snores and it helps me sleep in general anyway.
I hope someone who has been there responds.

Earplugs and eyemasks are a good idea. I wouldn't bring much cash if any. No use for it while in house. If you bring cash in, keep it with you at all times. There are a lot of not-so-good people who do studies. I would also bring earbuds for your phone and/or laptop. Some people don't use them but I think they should be mandatory for anyone who is listening to music/videos that can be heard by other people. It is extremely rude not to use them. You can get a pair for $10 so no excuse. I have an extra pair every time I go into a study just to be sure. Always bring a hoodie no matter what time of year. Also have at least one pair of jeans and one pair of light shorts. That way you are covered whether it is too warm or too cold. It is rarely a comfortable temperature so be prepared for both extremes any time of year.

earplugs and an eyemask are a good idea at any clinic. i had no problems with having cash there. i misplaced a computer while i was there, asked them to look for it, and never heard anything back.

Definitely bring a book or soing artistic to doodle and veg on because after a few days of ogling your phone and staring at t.v., hearing t.v.'s everywhere, and enduring the snoring tech fetishist manchild idiots around you, you're going to get an ugly headache.

You get paid to endure selfish idiots and eat shitty food, sleep in crappy beds and sleepwalk for medical staff who don't at all like you, i truly believe. The dose,the blood draws and crapping in a toy bucket are truly nothing compared to this. But GOSH DARN! dat monies sure iz gooD!
