I've always done studies that had only 30-40 blood draws each time.
But, I'm scoping one out that is requiring over 100 in the span of 3.5 weeks.
How does one keep their veins functional and intact after/during an onslaught like that??

some places use a catheter if they are doing a bunch in a short time. that is, they attach a tube to your arm and leave it in for a day or two. otherwise, is the pay enough to cover 100 sticks? i personally wouldn't have a problem with it. i have a spot on my right elbow with lots of scar tissue from many sticks over the years.

Not a big deal for almost 4 weeks...if they start out post dose intervals of 15 minutes that can be a little rough at first but alternate arms and use multiple veins per arm. work out, eat healthy and you should be good to go...assuming they don't do a nerve/tendon strick or soing...that can suck, but is rare.

I fairly recently did a study that required some 80 blood draws in slightly less than 2 weeks. There were days in which a blood draw was done every 2 minutes.
