I found found this link to a book on Google Books. I was actually looking for information on OSHA regulations for different medical offices.
If the link below works you can access some pages of a book about CROs but interestingly enough (and as far as I have read) the book seems to only address research sites in which animals are used. I have not yet read all of it of course. I did not think that the term CRO is used when it comes to animal experimentation. It has seemed to me that laboratory is the word used for places in which animal experimentation is done. But perhaps humans can be referred to as animals.
I am not too sure if anything can really apply or be learned from regarding Phase 1 Clinical Trials as we human lab rats know them. But perhaps. I don't know if anyone else on this site has posted this.
Oh, and by the way, some well known research sites such as MDS, Covance and Quintiles are mentioned on page 4.
