I've been calling every day for the past week. EVERY TIME, I get the "May I get your phone number and name for a call back due to high call volume" line.
Then when they call back, its not a convenient time for me to talk, not to mention it takes 3-4 DAYS for them to call back! I mean... I have a JOB. Are they only looking for people that don't work and can be tied to their phone 24/7? This whole procedure is baffling.
So now the study I wanted has disappeared from their website. Of course it has. Thanks Labcorp! The phones were much better back when you were Covance.
Last time I was there, the staff mentioned how they had a hard time filling the study I was in and that they didn't get enough people. Well, I wonder WHY. Could it be the way they deal with PHONE CALLS at the recruitment office?
I convinced my neighbor to do a study a few months ago and he gave up after calling them three times and going through this BS.
I mention this on every exit survey and they do NOTHING about it. They are basically giving their business to Spaulding.

How do you do a study if you have a regular job. I have never seen a study that would allow you to maintain a full time job other than studies. Probably won't be able to do both.

Its a very flexible job and I can take days off work whenever I want. But while I'm working, my phone has to be in a locker. So I can only talk to them when I'm on a break or after work, or weekends.

I hear ya! still low staff at phone their phone banks a I believe BUT much better at other places, ICON for example I always get someone before I hear 2 bars of Musak

I think they've redirected the entirety of incoming calls to the Dallas location for two reasons: The Dallas crew is notoriously lazy and inept and the overall feel of this new system points to them--good luck calling or getting a callback from the desk in Dallas even if you've already screened! Apparently the new dimwit Labcorp owners are under the impression that Dallas is a good choice for anything. Secondly, I've asked a staff member on the general recruiting line where she was located and she was evasive until I got a "Texas" out of her. Agreed, the system sucks. I'd rather be on hold for a half hour than wait for typically 10 days to get a callback in the meantime having to keep daily up to speed with their online menu in to be prepared to discuss my interests. Their excuse of high call volume is ridiculous--every other facility manages just fine, and if you pick up to tell me you're busy it doesn't make sense. Another excuse was "triage". So apparently Recruiting isn't a high priority. The turnover at even Madison has been ridiculous lately.
