The subject pretty much sums it up. If I'm closer to Eatontown, can I screen there for the Healthy NY study, rather than going all the way to NY?
Also, their VCT enrolled, when does a persons name clear from the VCT system? I've heard its as soon as the study is done rather than a month after. Is that correct? I'm looking for first hand knowledge on this, not rumors.

Hey Smiling4areason, you have an awesome avatar!!!!!
I can only answer part of your question: I'm not sure if you can screen in NJ as opposed to NY.
For Verified Clinical Trials (VCT), you are cleared after 30 days. If you happen to screen at another place that uses VCT then the sponsor of that particular study will select you based on their own washout period which could be longer.
For example, there are some studies that don't want to take anyone that has done a study in the last 60 days if the drug is similar. You won't know that info unfortunately until you try and screen.

I dont think you can. I screened in nj last week and they never gave me that option to go to ny, im in ct. Btw....the place in nj is nice and new, going in to do the study tomorrow. going to write a review but i can tell its cool there, staff was nice and pretty laidback.

Hello,
I'm the host of the award-winning podcast "Issues Tank" at WFUV, an NPR-affiliated station in New York City. My team and I explore issues that are of interest to millennials. For our latest episode, we're taking a look at millennials who participate in drug trials. I was hoping you would be able to connect me with participants to interview. I would love to meet up with participants in the New Jersey or New York City area, if you know of any doing trials there.
I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have. You can reach me by email at gmcgovern@wfuvnews.org
Looking forward to hearing from you.
Thanks, Gabrielle
