Has anybody done Covance this year that can update their VCT status? Thanks I screened last week, no VCT. So unless they make you sign soing at check-in, they still don't use it.

Can I ask what location you went to? I'm headed to Dallas, and can verify that location in 10 days if some companies vary by city, as the official VCT thread seems to wonder about. Although I have no plans to blatantly diegard the washout, I can imagine the temptation of a $6000 study where I'd miss the cut by 2 days due to a somewhat arbitrary number. (With the amount of readers on here, I'm hoping to show even a new member can pitch in and help update what should be a much busier thread. I realize some folks see this as a competition, but I'm guessing that's not the main reason for the lack of contribution. Don't be shy fellow labrats, let the golden rule guide you! ). EDIT: I have an idea to toss out before you.... Maybe at some point, one of us can post a new mast thread where the whole list is in the OP, and edited periodically with the information from the new posts? I think that would be appreciated as folks could get everything in the first post that they'd normally have to read through 4 or 5 pages for. I don't want to ask anyone, so I suppose I could do it if nobody else volunteered. If I(or whatever OP) die or disappear, I imagine the OP can be copied and pasted to start the 4th generation thread. Just seeing if there is any support for such an idea.

I screened in Madison and there was no VCT. I can't say for certain that they don't have it at the Dallas location. If you want to start a new VCT page, go ahead. I'm not going to because I never do studies that close together. I'm actually in favor of VCT. It keeps people from double-dipping. Like you say, it's not such a big deal to start a study 2 days before the 30 day mark. It's the people who dose with a new drug when they still have OPVs from another study. Those people are compromising the data and that's not okay.

Add Inflamax in New Jersey to the VCT list. I was looking for a post or thread on here confirming whether they used it or not and I couldn't find one, so I decided to go find out for myself.
I'm assuming they use it for all studies because I was screening for a short 2 period study. I should've assumed that they used VCT since they moved into the old Celerion location, that used VCT. I screened in Newark and saw a few people who worked at Celerion in NJ.

Has anybody done Covance this year that can update their VCT status? Thanks I was in Daytona Covance in August 2016, no VCT. Screening again end of this month Sept. will let u know if anything had changed but I doubt it. have heard that Compass Orlando Florida has VCT . ? For them to check to see if u have been at another clinic don't all of the clinics have to have the VCT . Can a VCT clinic call one that does not participate or is there some data base with your information in it . If yes do they go by your date of birth and ss # how else could they track you. just wondering.

Well I am trying to figure out how the thirty day wait for screening works because once u wait thirty days and then u screen for a study that usually doesn't start for at least two to three weeks from screening and then before u know it you are actually two months out starting your next study. So in reality you need to screen before the thirty day mark in to screen and start your next study hopefully thirty to maybe forty days out. Here is an example: I was at a study in Aug. that ended the 19th now screening Sept 28th and study does not start until Oct 18th so I am two months out. so I don't think you are cheating if u try and screen close to the thirty day mark, I can't see any other way to be able to do studies exactly every other month. that is my New Years goal to try and tweak my studies to where I can get a few more in next year.

ICON considers screening before the 30 day period as cheating. It happened to me. It doesn't matter. My advice, IF YOU KNOW that you're NOT in the VCT system but you have completed a trial and it hasn't been 30 days for your screening then tell them NO, NO, NO, NO. They WILL try to interrogate you and it's worse than getting questioned by the police. As in, take you into a private room in their dirty, janky office and try to scare you into telling the truth- even PRETENDING like they see soing in the system... seriously.

Does Biotrial in NJ have VCT? Also heard a rumor that Parexel will be getting VCT. Anyone know anything about this?
