Im going to Covance in Dallas tx March 31 til april 5th i just want to know is there anybody else going to this same study lil scared lol im single woman going by herself What are you worried about in particular? Are you the only female in the study you're participating in? Read some of the early topics created by honestlabrat. That should put you at ease with some of your concerns with whatever they may be.

Don't go to PPD. They are so picky about everything. My lab results were almost perfect except for a microscopic trace of red blood cells in my urine. They acted like I had a contagious disease wanting me to go see a urologist and get his ok for me to come back. Not only did I lose $500 in my travel expenses but also $9,000 for the study I was screening for. I should have drank Cranberry juice to get rid of the red blood cells but I didn't learn this until after I screened. I can't afford a urology visit and who is to say that they won't found soing nitpicky the next time I screen. I am so mad because they needed like 50-60 people for that study and two of my friends got in. It just sucks because I could have screened somewhere else and now it being November it is har dot find studies since most places don't want to do studies in November and December.

Same here, same reason. I went home and had 2 urinalysis done by my regular doc just to make sure. She said there was nothing wrong. PPD refused the documentation faxed from my MD's office.
