Did screening and had a question I am currently taking a hormonal birth control and I just found out I can't be for this study because the drug they will give us already has hormones in it. I did not tell them I am taking this but trying to figure out if it is soing needs to be said. I asked why and they said because this drug already releases hormones into body. So trying to see if they will accept me and if they do should I go on with the study regardless of birth control od is there a way they can tell? Thanks
I will say this. I know of someone that was on the depo shot, but never told the clinics. When asked for the date of her last period, she'd give a date somewhere around the middle of the month, to keep it consistent. It was never caught. Actually, I know a lot of women that have done this, some use birth control pills in a way to delay their period so that they don't have to deal with horrible cramps while on study- cause you know... not all places are good about giving out ibuprofen when needed.
Hey yall its nice to see people talking about this. I havnt done a study yet but an wondering if i should. mention my irregular periods and off balance hormones or just keep it on the DL. Any advice would be much apprecited
