Yes, does a VCT fingerprint scan at their screenings now.

is now on VCT! I was told that they had some type of verification but that it was not similar to the VCT that everyone else uses. Then I screened I fingerprinted and had to sign some type of form. I asked the screening person for the phone number of their VCT company. I called a few hours after screening and discovered that they are the SAME company that Spaulding, Celerion, PRA, SNBL, Worldwide, Icon, and others use! I'm so glad that it has been a few months since I did any studies at any of those places. But it was a close call and a little too close. I was only screening at because they were paying $270 for screening. I did not plan on actually checking in.

So as far as we know, RSVP and VCT do not share information with eachother?

the whole VCT thing is so pesky and seems so unnecessary overall ....but definitely good to know about, thanks to everyone who posts info.

This is NOT true. When I called the phone number that gave me they knew that I had been at Spaulding ad Spaulding does not use RSVP or whtever it is called.  They only use VCT.

if true, i find this very troubling as it would seem to violate laws governing the sharing of our data. clinics that use VCT should be sharing only with other clinics that use VCT, not some other program, unless we sign forms for each program during a screening at a particular clinic.

what exactly did you say when you called? i am curious.

I DO NOT WANT ANYONE GIVING FALSE INFORMATION THAT HASN'T BEEN THERE IN LESS THAN A MONTH. THEY RECENTLY DID A CHANGE OVER!

If he actually took the time to check, you can visit the VCT website where they say OVER and OVER and OVER again that they have introduced fingerprint scanning to thwart double enrollment.

I see they did announce--only about ten days ago--that they've added fingerprint verification to their available services.

But are any clients actually using it?

They also still say their service is entirely web-based, involving neither hardware nor software. That precludes fingerprint verification.

In general: their website says a lot of things. But I've been through the verification process plenty of times & never seen fingerprint verification used. Maybe it will be soon.
