You are over 55 and smoke. Maybe you should rethink this. You'll be lucky to find 1 study a year that you qualify for.

I'm not sure if they are still doing more groups though. Current Studies 15-NQ-001 (FASTING): 8 day At-Home Run-In Period followed by an 18 day stay in the Neptune, NJ facility Menthol Cigarette Exposure Study The purpose of this study to obtain information on nie and carbon monoxide exposure following the use of prototype cigarettes with different menthol levels by adult smokers. Once subjects successfully complete screening, the subjects will complete an 8 day At-Home Run-In Period in which they will smoke only the test product given to them. They will then return to the clinic and stay consecutively from Day -3 to Day 15. Compensation: $4,800 Age: 21 to 65 Good luck.

celerion in lincoln has some smokers studies sometimes. talk to the recruiters at knoxville, whatever that place is called. but they never have anything for me. biomedical in st charles mo has had smoking studies in the past. they seem to be retooling right now.
i turned 56 this week. it's not impossible to find studies over 55, but it's much harder. being a smoker cuts out about 90% of studies. if you have the willpower to quit for 2 months, that might be clean enough to get into a study, aside from saving you money and maybe saving your life. but 93% of smoker would rather die than quit. don't expect to make enough from studies to quit your day job, but you could still find a few, so even though we are giving you a hard time, persevere, if it's what you want to do.
