I mainly do: Healthy Studies
# of studies I have done: 20
A little about me: I'm just a year over the usual cutoff of 55, so finding studies is harder for me. Also, I just can't seem to find anything on the southeast part of the country, unless it's 500 miles from my new city of Charlotte.
I enjoy a variety of things and I think it takes someone who's just a little bit crazy to be a study participant. I've met some of the best people in studies in which I've participated, and kept them as friends.

I've used jalr, study scavenger and the NIH website, but I can't find anything even remotely close to my new city. I moved here from Phoenix, where I was a healthy participant with Celerion for over ten years. This regular job crap is getting old and I need to find a study! If anyone can direct me to a research facility anywhere in the vicinity, I would so greatly appreciate it. I am able to travel, but I don't have friends in any cities around here, so the whole idea of going for a screening and then multiple visits just isn't soing I want. Of course, if I get into a decent study, I have no problem staying in a hotel while waiting for the returns, but driving 500 miles for a screening is very daunting. Thanks in advance for any help you can possibly give me. If you'd prefer to contact me directly, my phone number is (775) 443-9391

www.jalr.org/full/nc_high_point_clinical_trials_center.htmlthat's probably your closest. i've screened there but not gotten in, but it's a nice facility. clarksville TN is a bit further and they never seem to have anything for me, but get on their list. I just turned 56, I guess it's going to be tough from here.

I signed up for High Point myself this week, but have to call them back. I like the places that list their studies online, unfortunately these guys don't...but for all I know they could be very good. You may also be interested in looking into some of the Universities in NC, which there seem to be plenty of. While I'm not as familiar with them, I'd imagine Duke would have some cutting edge studies: www.dukehealth.org/treatments/clinical-trials This place may be within your radius too, and they currently have a study that allows up to age 65: jalr.org/full/tn_noccr_knoxville.htmlBeing you've done many Celerion studies, is it currently true you need to be a resident of AZ to participate? I'm interested in doing some there.

I'm not sure if their clinics have separate policies, but I've seen complaints on here that Phoenix allowed Mexican nationals but not out of state Americans. I've learned not to take anything on here for granted though, lol.

ok, for phoenix, call and ask. i forgot that at the lincoln site they sometimes only recruited locally, especially when there were a lot of returns, so it would depend on the study. but they are more flexible lately. but i havent been to phoenix which could be different.

I was trying to find reviews on some places near me.
