New VCT single post list

Behold, ye ingrates.  I have condensed 7 pages of a thread(maybe 3 years' worth) into 1 post.  Those who contribute the information were given credit.  I intend to edit it as new information is added to this thread.  If you like the idea and appreciate the effort, you can click the thumbs up.  If not, I can delete upon request.  I am for the people.  Heck, this post may even inspire a lurker "guest" or 2 to register to give a thumbs up or maybe even pitch in what they know?  Seriously, 200 guests in 24 hours are likely to have a decent amount if information.  If I made any errors(and/or if those I quoted did), feel free to let me know.  

I'm also interested in other information, such as Quintiles requiring (criminal)background checks, residency requirements such as Parexel Glendale, info on any VCT competitors(mentioned briefly below), etc.  You folks may be the competition, but I believe in the Golden Rule, even for the lurking guests.  I'd also like to encourage some of the guests or lurking registered members to contribute...you'll get you're name on the list.  

Also, if someone "heard" soing, I decided to include that in a separate category, so that folks can decide for themselves.  Personally, I can't vouch for the people on this list who are no longer here, as some of them may have "heard" some of the slew of things they listed in one post, which I gave the benefit of the doubt unless they said they "heard".  On that note, any updates/confirmations are always appreciated.  

Disclaimer: I do not condone your cheating.  I do condone efficiency and contribution though, and wanted to give back to the board after my short time on here, rather than assuming I'll always be around to do so(the average half life here appears to be short, whether or not it's due to death, illness, or mental decline).  I also may be vying for rookie of the year, lol.

"www.clinicalrsvp.com/ is the place doing fingerprinting. it's a competitor/alternative to vct.
it's used at least at spaulding, , some places in florida and ontario. so far it's caught one person
trying to do a study at spaulding without finishing their 30 day washout.

seems to me it's mostly ineffective since most sites dont use it, but there could be wider adoption as time goes on."

Although, AC replied with this:
"I've done 7 studies at Spaulding in the last 3 years and i'm in one now. I've never been fingerprinted. They have VCT but there's no fingerprinting involved."

Diamond said Spaulding uses ClinicalRSVP also, but it was within the last couple of years of 2013/2104, so if anyone wants to chime in on clinicalRSVP for any location, I'd be grateful.  

And for the love of Pete(or in this case, Paul), if any lurkers(guests) would be as kind to register and give back any info in this thread instead of just taking, we'd all be grateful.  The ratio of guests to members in a 24 hour period typically looks soing like 200 guests to 8 members(from what Ive seen the last few days).  Guests likely have a lot of data, and I imagine it would be good karma if you shared even just once.  Thanks

There were actually more than one VCT threads, but I mentioned how this one would be different.  If it doesnt turn out to be clearly the case, I will ask the mods to delete it.  I've updated the OP already, and hope you'll like it.  

Sometimes even new folks like myself can identify potential areas of improvement, and I encourage the lurker guests to register and contribute whatever you can, even if it's just a question.  

I want to be the champion of the new guy/gal, as well as the underdog, like Jesus, Ghandi, MLK, maybe Ron Paul or John McAffee were.  Let this be a big tent of study participants, drunkards and tea-totallers alike.  Come one, come all.  Your ideas and questions are very welcome!  I think most of us would agree with that?  Heaven knows it isnt like this board suffers from too much activity, although it seems to have picked up in the last month or so for some reason I cant seem to put my finger on...

Thank you for the update. I have been to Riverside once  I and hoping to go to compass and OCRC in the near future.
i am screening at Daytona Covance next week.
So if u screen at more than one place , of the above, will they know it. You really need to screen at more than one place so I can not see why they would hold that against you.
so I assume since Covance does not VCT I could screen at OCRC, compass or riverside without a problem?..

as as a side note I have a girlfriend going to Parexel in MD who was just in a study lets say at Compass
since she is flying I was wondering if they have VCT . She is screening next wk. And I would hate for her to spend the money for screening for nothing.

Just reading post from punt kicker that Parexel does not have VCT so will get it re-verified after my friend screens next week.

And I have been messaged from some people from FB asking about clinical trials and I have directed them to this site and told them to make a profile and share
What they know so hopefully more people will join.
I must say that many lab rats, unfortunately, are afraid to share thinking that it will keep them from getting into a study. I don't feel that way at all.
Maybe some people really need as many studies as possible and see others as a threat.
It really depends on your labs so I am happy to share and believe in karma, that by helping others I am helping myself .

Things like this should be done on password-protected forums. They're free & easy to set up.

If thats the case, I suppose I could erase it.  The other threads would still be there though, and yes the owner(if he is still around) supposedly has some affiliation with VCT, so I dont suppose he minds.  I am for the people though, so I am willing to get rid of it for the greater good.  Actually, if you'd be as kind as to share how to set this up as private, I think we'd all agree with you that this is a good idea!  I wouldnt mind seeing registration required here to read posts, but how would that keep whomever youre worried about from signing up?  


However, when you say the rest of the forum is more draining than being in a clinic, what do you mean?  Im relatively new here, so I might not understand what upsets you so much about reading it, and why you would read it if it upsets you.

Thanks for the "like", I appreciate it.  I've no idea if folks like this single post list idea or not, being you're only the 2nd person to like it, lol.  (I plan to do another update to it soon, likely within a few days, if not sooner).  

I dont currently know about Inventive, but I will see what I can do.  Maybe Floridagirl or Travelingrat will know, being they live in Florida.

As for Inventive not having it's own discussion area on here, that indeed is odd being it a clinic listed on the main page.  Consider this my request for the mods to add it.  I tried that with Spaulding, and apparently failed, due to them being bitter at Paul for soing in the past before I was here.  It's possible soing similar happened with Inventive, but I am putting in a request just in case it hasn't been banned on here.  

Anyhow, welcome aboard!  I'm always excited to see new folks posting for the first time, as it's been rather slow.  Feel free to ask anything, and/or to add any bits of information from your own experiences, as it helps build the knowledge base for the board.
