Yeah, that one selling drugs may have set a record for length. They generally at least have a purpose, though.

I just had a realization that this board may not have the least material on it compared to other boards that folks are on, for everyone, like it does for me. Hypothetically, for some folks this could be the most material, and amount of posting theyve seen on a message board. Granted the other boards they are on would have to be beyond pathetic, but I suppose it is possible, especially if those boards were new. This thread has also helped me realize that maybe we are using up too much of Paul's monthly server alottment, and need to slow down and ration our output? Paul, is this true? Do you want less content here? I kind of was figuring it was the other way around and Paul would dig more content like in the early times before the board apocalypse and rebuilding(reminds me of the talk in Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome, of the "old times"), similar to what TravelingRat said, but I'd like to be sure. Sometimes the world might benefit from knowing what it's god wanted, so maybe the OP is onto soing and Paul should come forth and let his will be known unto us? I'm still not 100% convinced the guy even exists, but if Paul is real, I am wondering if he truly supports the OP's proposed writing rations? WWPD?!?! (If you see someone in a study with a WWPD bracelet on, it just might be me, as they help me stay centered in the Tao during long studies where my mind can wander). When I come upon long posts, or even hookers in an ally trying to chat me up, it kind of reminds me of this Almond Joy commercial: (This is not an endorsement of candy! It is not intended to insult those on strict diet, and/or diabetics! It's for entertainment/educational purposes only, and is not does not claim to diagnose, treat, or cure whatever problem you have) (This post started off shorter, is it now in the long category too? Does whether a person views a post an phone or computer effect how they label the length?).

I am enjoying your posts. Hardly anyone else seems to want to post helpful tips and available studies I enjoy sharing info and it is nice to feel a sense of comradery with follow "volunteers". So keep posting. I will be on the look out for your WWPD bracelet. I have not been doing this that long, a little over a year, so am still learning how to be better at finding and scheduling sstudie.

So keep posting. I will be on the look out for your WWPD bracelet. I have not been doing this that long, a little over a year, so am still learning how to be better at finding and scheduling sstudie. Another word for "insane" is "mad", so I find this post on topic and fitting for the thread. Being you are relatively new to this world, and for others like you, there is much history about this amazing way of life...and the board which currently is the best resource for the community. There is much history about THIS BOARD ITSELF, that was erased during THE GREAT PURGE! Many of the old have nearly forgotten, and the new do not know. The super elders, like Vark can verify this. I wish he would do more of "The Tell", like in this video. Heck, I wish anyone would. Even some of the "older" post-purge posts give small hints of what was here before, gimpses of times much different. But like the English language in this video, the memories and traditions have become very watered down, similar the the vast amount of " occulted" knowledge in real life that most of the ignorant masses lost understanding of millenia ago. Many take it for granted, but some of us don't and appeal to a sense of fairness for "The Tell"! The words of this clip may be hard to understand at first so prepare yourself, but it is an EPIC illustration of how things reform after an apocalyptic event such as The Great Purge of this board! Being Mad Max: Beyond Thunderdome was mentioned previously, what better allegory to help the memory of the old times here survive... even for those who were not here. Jesus was wise, and used parables. While some apparently(The OP) prefer Tina Turner's "We Dont Need Another Hero", some look to a better future on here through the wisdom of the past. If you watch it all, you should understand.

The problem is that the long, chatty posts contain no information.
Maybe you should request that an "off topic" subforum be created.

wel, alternatively --cant you just skip them? if you see an "insanely long post" and you recognize the poster as one who posts long chatty posts, why not forgo the reading of it?
lab-acting is such a weird vocation that i often find odd tidbits and ideas and speculations scattered throughout the forum to be quite interesting.
sometimes even the rants on this board have had a kernel of truth or contained useful cautionary info.

Yeah, i enjoy all posts even the long ones. It is all about venting and sharing. So if u do not want to read a "long" post then skip it. I always learn, glean, information from most posts. I enjoy sharing and learning.

I'm glad the people making the long, uninteresting, irrelevant posts enjoy them.
