Researchers at The Rockefeller University are conducting a study to determine whether a common artificial sweetener can change how the body responds to sugar. We plan to see if these changes can be reversed when artificial sweeteners are removed from a daily diet.
You may be eligible if you: - Consume at least 3 cans of diet soda a day - Are between the ages of 18-45 - Do not have diabetes - Do not smoke cigarettes
Participation involves: - 2 outpatient visits to Rockefeller University - Blood work
