Ok so I was disqualified at a big known clinic for an elevated thyroid, I then was able to to get into Parexel and afterwards within a few months after.
I tried to get into the study clinic which initially disqualified me and once again I was told I had a out of normal thyroid of 6+ ths
I don't understand? I was able to to get into two other places and I actually did a independent blood test and my thyroid is completely fine at 1.5ths.
Is it a issue that they just don't want me in their facility? what could be the problem? If I got into which is pretty much the king when it comes to studies why not this other place?

The same thing may happen to you again if the specific study requires the same test. You may need to see an endocrinologist to see what the problem is. Thyroid disease is very serious. I can imagine you are very lean in appearance. It possible if you are exposed to a medication that is pro drug that you may metabolize it to quickly and it could quickly become very toxic. You could move from becoming a subject to patient or being placed under the administration of a medical examiner

ask paraxel and for your labs, and bring those and the independent blood test with next time you screen at [wherever] and discuss it with the dr. maybe they have false positives in their testing. maybe you have an intermittent problem.
back when i was wasting my time and money trying to do studies at lilly, one time they said my thyroid was off and i'd have to get a lab test, that was $150, then when i went back in they said they didnt really need the lab test after all.
i've never smoked, but twice i've had false positives for ine at screenings. i just consider that kind of thing as part of the game.
i am not a doctor and this is not medical advice.

has that been everybody's experience with parexel? they are entitled to withhold the study labs, but it unethical to withhold the screening labs. you (all of us) should always make a written request for whatever records they will give us at any place, which is often just the screening labs.
it gives you a baseline, worth thousands of dollars, for when you eventually get old and sick. and sometimes it tells you you have a problem now.

Weird though, Maybe Covance just does things differently? If a person has a bad thyroid wouldn't he get disqualified from every other clinic as well for the same reason? The difference between blood examinations was very very wide at covance it was over 6.0tsh both times Through 2 examinations at independent doctors it was 1.5tsh which is completely normal. I could understand if it was a few points off but both results are completely different, could it be that Covance is fabricating this in to disqualify me?

could it be that Covance is fabricating this in to disqualify me? I highly doubt that. What reason would they have to do this? They don't have to call you or do anything if they don't want to. They will accept whomever they want as long as you pass. I think vark up above already gave you a good enough answer. Here's one thing you could try: Go to thyroidboards.com and ask them. (Make sure to post in the "Lab Results" section.) Don't mention anything about doing studies. Just say you've taken multiple tests, but do mention they come from different sources. Just don't mention the studies. Ask them if they've seen this before... and what to make of it.

Only if you want to be disqualified for the study.

If you are taking thyroid hormone and doing studies, it sounds like you are trying to speed up your appointment with a coroner. If you have life insurance you should make Jones the beneficiary.

Yes, if you don't want to do the study. When you admit to taking any kind of supplement or drug, they won't invite you to screen.
No, if you want to do the study. It's possible that the drug will interact with whatever you're taking, but it depends on the drug. At least you'll probably make it to screening.
