it's about the same. friendly staff; they train them to be nice. small cubicle to sleep in, no roommate unless thery are really full. multiple studies going on. food is ok. decent participants. my group was mostly middle aged women they flew in from phoenix because they didnt have enough locals. so this time no competitive call in because they took anyone who passed screening. they actualy paid more than the consent agreement promised, which never happens. after i checked out, i got a call they wanted one more ekg, so i faxed that to them, hope everything is cool. pet peeve is the bathrooms were often locked. this place is a long drive for me, but nice once i get there.
edit: Did they start with the multiple payout options?
no not quite yet, paid by check.

I think that's great. All should provide this.
I like the paypal option.

i am going to be there for the month of january. but it's an outpatient study, so i need to find a place to stay for a month. willing to pay a $100 finders fee, payable at the end of the study, if you know a cheap place i can stay for a month. i'm not picky, somebody's basement or garage, guest room etc. hotel is $200/wk but i'd like to do better than that. gtbear at gmail.
edit: after two weeks in the hotel, i rented a basement. study is going great. i picked up a side gig as a dishwasher at a korean place while i'm here.
they are doing the hyperwallet thing now.
