Hi all, so I got a screening in salt lake coming up soon. Im flying from the Midwest, wasn't very smart with my scheduling as I have a day of skiing planned the day before my screening...at close to 12,000 ft. I don't have time to acclimate to elevation and last time I was in the rockies I felt a little sluggish and maybe a head ache but not full blown altitude sickness.
Will this sudden altitude change throw my bloodwork off? I've heard rbc can go up but enough to cause concern? Any low elevation folks here get into Icon salt lake without issue?
