At I had to redo my screening pee test because it was too clear. Meaning I had drank too much water prior to screening. The thing is they tell you to drink a lot of water prior to screening. Do you find this is the norm for most CRUs? Do they all want it to be yellowish in color? Or do you suppose this could be particular with ?

I often get that, I frequently drink so much water to make sure that I can pee and that they can get blood easily that I could just take the pee cup and drink it down because it is obviously just water, but I have never had a clinic say I had to pee again. I guess if it is the right temperature then that is generally all they are looking for.

I never even thought about the difference. I think 's point of view on that is that you could mask whatever you have in your system or whatever by diluting it with too much water.

Out of all the clinical research facilities I have been to is the only place where I have witnessed staff tell a participant that his urine was too clear.

If someone told me that, I would say in my most indignant tone, " How dare you sir! What praytell are you insinuating! ".
Then I would violently throw my urine in their face like a glass of Chardonnay, turn and storm out in a huff, muttering, "I never.."

LMAO I've been into seriously 11 times this summer between check ins and screens. I had to repee twice and saw many others doing the same. They are cool about it, but it's got to do with Specific Gravity and they can't do the test they like to do. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Urine_specific_gravityIf screening they give you time to work up some more pee. If you're checking in, they let you go up stairs but usually you can't eat until you pee. Never drain yourself completely, save little just in case, it'll soak and be more concentrated. Also, don't drink anymore water if you're retesting, it'll just keep watering you down. If your pee is already light, you have plenty of water in you and you'll have to pee again soon enough. Don't mid stream it though, just catch what you can. Also, for those who might test dirty, they WILL NOT RETEST you. They will send the same sample to another lab and retest the sample, but they will not let you pee again. At least they guys I saw fail, that was their procedure.

At , I had to pee three times during screening because it was too clear. Luckily I had to come back for the second part of the screening, so I was able to give them yellow pee lol. If it was one screening visit, I most likely would've been rejected.
